Thoughts

Sometimes I feel, negativity is inbuilt in humans or people get pretty easily attracted to it. For instance, I always tell that one should be positive in every walk of life and may be I even try to follow it to some extent. But, at times, your mind is not in your control and all the negative thoughts simply bother you. If you are waiting for someone and that person is quite late; you won’t think that he/she might have stopped for buying a surprise gift or something like that rather you will think that something is wrong with him/her and you will panic. I don’t know you have faced such kind of situations or not. But, yes majority of the people I have seen ready in this  way only. Thoughts are uncontrollable.

It was great that you texted me and I got to know that you are busy in office else so many irrelevant thoughts were coming in my mind. Anyway, you take your time and whenever you will be done with the work do sketch; till then I will be waiting. Don’t stretch yourself for sketching or posting blogmails.

By the way, do you like pets? I do know you are fond of sketching elephants and sometimes dogs as well. But, do you really like them or just you like them for sketching? I know I have asked plenty of questions since you last posted, but I just can’t write without asking I feel sometimes 😅. No doubt, why my ‘college’ friends call me ‘panchayti ki dukan’😂😂.

Hey, is everything okay? Or it is just the winters that you are not posting? I just hope the weather is making you lazy and all rest is fine. My sketch for today is this:

My sketching lectures will end by the end of this month and we need to present a comic as well in the exam. I am pretty excited for it. I have decided my content of the story and have to design it completely before exam. Doyou have any story which I can frame into a comic? I would love to make comics. Once I will be done with my comic, I will share it with you☺.

In the last week, we had to do origami work. We were divided into groups and each group was assigned a character. Ours was mammoth and I was made the leader of our group. Nobody was interested in making, just the group members helped in cutting the paper that’s it. But our faculty has very high expectations from me. So, in the end, I tried to make it all alone but I was unable to make it to the mark. While carrying it to class, it broke and when the teacher asked me; he was shocked to hear that I did it all alone and then he called other members of our group. We all tried to make but were not able to and then finally made turtle😂. It was fun, but a bit exhausting.

Because of all this, I was unable to post last week. Anyway, have you planned anything for Christmas or New Year’s Eve? Are you going anywhere? Are they keeping thd Secret Santa game this year as well in the office? Ohh my God, I feel I have asked too many questions in this blogmail😂😂. Will ask the remaining ones in the next one.

Winter is here

Hello. I know you might be thinking I was asking you that why weren’t posting and I myself disappeared suddenly. Actually, my last few days were a bit hectic with some hustle bustle😅. I was trying to complete this since Sunday and finally today I finished it. Here is my sketch for the day. I would like to hear your views on this sketch as I had a motive behind sketching it and I want to know till what extent it is getting conveyed and in further sketches I will then improve accordingly.

I had attended a workshop this Sunday. In it we were taught how to make comics. The lady who conducted the workshop is an illustrator and comic artist. She makes designs for children’s books. The experience was good. I enjoyed it. We were asked to make our own comic over there by making up some story of our own. The main thing that was to be kept in mind was no words will be used; only through visuals the story should be explained. It was fun.

You find winters cruel? I rather really like winters. It is so awesome to just sit with blanket all around and a book in one hand and coffee mug in another😍. Finally, winter is here and am happy. Because November was about to end, till then we all were like winter is coming but there were no traces of winter. Also, in winters variety of yummy dishes like paratha, halwa, etc. are made. Calling winters cruel will be a bit harsh I feel😆

I am guessing this weather is not letting you sketch and making you lazy. That’s why you are not posting. No worries, take your time. It is not necessary that you need to sketch for posting, you can even simply drop a blogmail as well. 🙂

The lazy winter.

First and foremost, I totally agree that humans are lazy, we are hardwired to take the easier path.

But with dedication and right motivation, we humans push ourselves to break out of our usual behaviour and achieve great things in our lives.

I used to not be this lazy, the office work was there before and is still there now. That is not something that has changed. I believe it is the winter chills that are making me even more lazier than I was before, which means I have to get even more dedicated towards art than what I previously was.

My today’s sketch is about this crewl season:

I have been trying to make this since past five days! Finally today afternoon I sat and finished it. It was really fun and I totally enjoyed sketching this.

Your picture of a matchbox was simply amazing. It was so deep. I really liked it a lot!

I was not aware of purple being the royal color, it is the favourite colour of my mom though. Whenever I get her a gift or make something for her, I make sure there is purple in it or at least it is wrapped in purple cover.

I am totally aware of the fact that you will do something if I told you not to do it, but I had to warn you. I do want you to watch it but I also want you to be careful when you watch it.

Your painting of the girl is also fantastic, maybe I should try to make something with colors. I am probably very bored looking at everything black and white especially after those 31 days of Inktober.

P. S.: If you do come up with some interesting word, it will definitely be a great motivator for me to sketch, but I know your are busy too, so no pressure, just saying that you can anyways ask whatever you want to or say whatever you want to without thinking.

Mixture of things

Are you busy with work or you have completely lost motivation of sketching or you are writing novel? 😅. I know too many questions in the beginning itself, but I had this thing in my mind so simply thought of asking you!

By the way, I forgot to ask how’s office these days? I mean have you settled in your place? Has anyone come to sit near you or you are still sitting all alone in that cubicle?

I have started with a new software “Adobe After Effects” in the class. It is a very interesting software. It’s all about adding effects to videos. It is mainly used in motion graphics. I am enjoying it a lot.

The Royal Color

I was going to text you today, since you did not post any blogmail in the last few days😅. And then saw your post. I was happy to see that but the title did disappoint me a bit. But, I can understand that it is hectic for you to go home after office and then again sit and sketch. It is just that these days you have found a new way to engage yourself and it is very easy for you. For writing your book, you don’t need any special arrangements; where ever and whenever you wish you can simply start writing. On the other hand, for sketching you require a proper set up and due to the long break you just don’t feel like doing that.

I feel humans are very lazy (in general). Once they step into their comfort zones, they don’t like to step out of that. This is the reason that they require huge amount of time in reaching the top sometimes or are not even able to reach as they are satisfied with what they have and where they are. Just a thought.

My favourite color is pretty easy to guess; it is purple – the color of royalty😅. Majority of the girls have this as their favourite color. I was earlier unware that purple was a color of royals. Just few years back, I got to know about it.

You remember once I had told that “the thing that one is asked not to do; one does that very first” and I had even narrated my experiences regarding this. Since you are saying that the movie is very heavy and I should not see, I will not watch it now. But, some day I will definitely watch because now I have this curiosity that what is there in it that you are asking me to not watch it😆😆.

Anyway, today I have colored the sketch that I had made in the last week. Have a look:

Loss of motivation.

Hi, I feel like there has been so many gaps, that it feels so much taxing to pick my pencil up and draw again.

I have been in this position before too and unsurprisingly I am here again. This is the main reason I don’t like long breaks.

I did make a simple cartoon sketch though, and I am very happy with this, but the motivation is not there for some reason. He is the villain in the Alladin movie.

BTW, I know the name of the movie is a bit misleading, Dead Poets Society, but poetry is all but one small part of the movie. The movie does not have a happy ending. I will say this again, it takes you to emotional places which are very difficult to comprehend in a simple way, unless you just ignore the deeper side of the film. I personally think, you should not watch it.

I am happy to see you are changing, and more so that you are enjoying the change. Change is good only if it is from within and not forced on anyone. Take your time and do the things you wanna do at your own pace.

Harry Potter is the book that got me into reading, but the fact is, I grew up with it. And the book grew up too.

You might feel the first book is childish, but it moves up as the age of our main characters is increased. Something the author has managed to portray very beautifully.

Colors add life!

As mentioned in the past as well, colors always attract me in art. Paintings have totally a different impact than sketches some times I feel. Though individually both have their own class and standard. Few things look beautiful in sketches only whereas colors add more life to few arts. So, today I tried to make a painting. Here it is.

Actually I was just checking my instagram feed and saw doodlewash prompt. I was not at all planning to make thing this today. But, after seeing the prompt it excited me and I started making this. Also, I thought it is a bit relevant to the current weather. I liked the simplicity as well as the depth of the painting.

I don’t why these days I literally run out of words when am supposed to post a blogmail. My schedule was a bit hectic this week. This can be one of the reasons might be.

You might be already aware thay each color has some specific meaning. I was just reading something todat and came across an article and got to know that majority of people have their favourite color as blue. Did you know about this? What is your favourite color by the way?😅
