Nature – An art in itself

Your Spiderman was amazing. It was really worth your days I feel after that tiring office. Keep making such beautiful sketches. Even I feel the same like you about the sketch that you posted on last blogmail. The tree is asking for help it feels, like someone should just come and hold her hand and say, “Everything will be fine, don’t worry.” The sketch really had a deep meaning.

Remember, in one of my earlier posts I had mentioned that our teacher told that every design that we make is inspired from nature. So, yes nature is an art in itself. The beautiful color-combination all around us; in flowers, trees, sky, water, fruits, literally everything is a living example of this.

I know when someone criticizes our art, deep down it hurts; but I feel after hearing the criticisms I make my next sketch more carefully and try not to repeat the same mistakes. Though I find it a bit tough to play the role of critique, I don’t mind if someone criticizes it. I will even suggest you don’t take their comments so seriously. Do what you think is best. If their suggestions are good improve else just ignore them.

I had drawn my sketch, but just didn’t get time to post. For sometime you will need to bear up with my irregularity maybe, though I will try to be on time. So, here’s the sketch:

Mess

So many things are going on simultaneously. I can just say, my week was a bit messy. My weekend was good though, after a long time I was at my room for the entire day and I spent the whole day relaxing. Actually, currently in my classes, two softwares are going on continuously. So, I was packed with assignments and stuff. Also, some other things were there; which I can’t share here, may be when we will meet I will tell you.

I had drawn the sketch half, but didn’t feel like posting. Today I finally completed it. Still, it did not come out the way I was expecting it to be. Anyway, here it is:

I think posting once in two days will be a good option, by doing this we will be able to choose tough sketches as well and also we will maintain a proper posting of blogmail chain I feel; which we have lost in past few months. By the way, why didn’t you post? Or even you were busy?

Yes, interpreted it right; my last sketch was about how an introvert feels. I really liked because I felt, in such a simple way every thing was said. I didn’t use perspective firstly cause it didn’t click me and secondly I feel few sketches look more good if the rules are bent a bit. Everytime doing my methods limits an art is what I feel. Just a thought.

I liked your humming bird, it was good. I forgot to ask you, how’s your novel going on? How far have you reached? I must say but, your level of writing has changed a lot (in a good way). I like it.

Old young man

Remember? I had written in one of my blogmails that am trying to change certain things like posting incomplete drawings, reading fiction, etc. As a part of that same change, am trying to spend more time for self growth. That’s the reason I did not post. I drew a very simple sketch but I feel it has a deep meaning, at least for me. I don’t know why I did not post yesterday, though I had drawn it only shading was left. Anyway, here it is:

I would like to know what comes in your mind after looking at this one. By the way, your sketch was amazing. It was absolutely worth of three days work for that kind of perfection.

Mr. N, how can I forget you are an old young man (after so long I got an opportunity to call you that so just didn’t want to lose one😛), so it is obvious that you will miss out few of my questions😝, completely understandable😆. You skipped the question, “Does it ever happen with you that you forget the spelling of a basic word?”. It once happened with me when I was in I guess 6th or 7th grade that it took me five minutes to understand spelling of “two”.

How was your weekend? I hope you are enjoying nowadays, as work load is a bit less and there’s no winter as well😁.

English – A confusing language

You might be thinking why is the title all of a sudden about English😅. Did it ever happen with you that you got confused about spelling of a basic word may be which you are learning and hearing since childhood? I have heard this thing from many people and same happened with me while writing my previous post. Actually I had planned to name that blogmail as “Woah! You are back”. But, when I was about to write I got confused whether it is “Woah” or “Whoa”. I googled it and then got more confused😂😂. So, I simply used “wow”😃. I wanted to mention this in last blogmail itself, but it was getting too long.

Then I read your last blogmail. In your previous blogmails you have been using “anyways” and not “anyway” while writing. But, in the last one you used “anyway”. I read it once somewhere that “anyway” is the correct way to spell it. So, even you read it somewhere or unkowingly you have written “anyway” instead of “anyways”. Actually, the reason behind all this confusion is “British English” and “American English”, I feel. We usually hear and speak a mixture of the two I think and this is what leads to confusion. I would like to hear your views on this.

By the way, it is completely fine if you show my sketch to anyone, I have no problem at all. After all I feel art is a thing which should be spread among the mass and hence, my Instagram profile is also public. The words “our personal experiences play a really important part”, touched my heart. The meaning is very deep and I can’t simply frame it in a sentence. All I want to say is those words were amazing. May be when we will meet I will be able to express what I mean to say.

So, the new memeber as in my replacement right? Is she also interested in sketching? Does she sit next to you? As per out last conversation I remember you were alone in that cubicle?

Wow, you are back!

First of all a hearty welcome to you. I am so damn happy today that you are finally back. When today morning I saw your mail I was so surprised and happy I can’t even tell you. I felt so great after your blogmail today, thank you for making my day. I don’t know where do I start from, there are plenty of things to share. It was very sweet of you that you thought about me and changed the title of the blogmail😅.

Thank you for all the kind words for my sketches. By the way, the comic was not for the competition; it was for my exam. People liked it, hopefully will show you when we meet or will post it some day. I came back in the beginning of February itself. My classes are going good and were a bit hectic till last week as we had that “Annual Anniversary” of our institute. We had to submit our best works and then there was exhibition. I had submitted 9 in all and 8 got selected. The results are still not out though.

Actually my thought behind that sketch was how the situations of humans have become these days. In front of everyone they smile and just pretend to be happy but they are suffering internally. That’s what I thought, but I liked your interpretation as well. I believe this is the beauty of art. Everyone has a different perspective to look at same things.

After looking ay your whatsapp status I felt that you were too busy, hence I didn’t message you. Even I was thinking from past few days that I will post here, but just didn’t. The case with me is I guess, when you post I feel like posting because then you will reply. But, you were busy and so was I, so I simply dropped the plan. I think the last two lines were a bit confusing, if you felt so, just ignore.

Time Flies!

It feels like just yesterday we entered into the year 2019, but when we look back already 15 days of the new year are over. Anyway, how are you? I was a bit busy these days, so didn’t get time  to post anything. Are you very much busy? Even your whatsapp status is ‘DND’. Is everything cool in office?

How’s everything with you? What’s new in this new year? Did you sketch anything? By the way, in February there is annual anniversary of the institute in which I am studying. So there will be competition. I have made this sketch for the same. Let me know your views on this.

Thoughts

Sometimes I feel, negativity is inbuilt in humans or people get pretty easily attracted to it. For instance, I always tell that one should be positive in every walk of life and may be I even try to follow it to some extent. But, at times, your mind is not in your control and all the negative thoughts simply bother you. If you are waiting for someone and that person is quite late; you won’t think that he/she might have stopped for buying a surprise gift or something like that rather you will think that something is wrong with him/her and you will panic. I don’t know you have faced such kind of situations or not. But, yes majority of the people I have seen ready in this  way only. Thoughts are uncontrollable.

It was great that you texted me and I got to know that you are busy in office else so many irrelevant thoughts were coming in my mind. Anyway, you take your time and whenever you will be done with the work do sketch; till then I will be waiting. Don’t stretch yourself for sketching or posting blogmails.

By the way, do you like pets? I do know you are fond of sketching elephants and sometimes dogs as well. But, do you really like them or just you like them for sketching? I know I have asked plenty of questions since you last posted, but I just can’t write without asking I feel sometimes 😅. No doubt, why my ‘college’ friends call me ‘panchayti ki dukan’😂😂.

Hey, is everything okay? Or it is just the winters that you are not posting? I just hope the weather is making you lazy and all rest is fine. My sketch for today is this:

My sketching lectures will end by the end of this month and we need to present a comic as well in the exam. I am pretty excited for it. I have decided my content of the story and have to design it completely before exam. Doyou have any story which I can frame into a comic? I would love to make comics. Once I will be done with my comic, I will share it with you☺.

In the last week, we had to do origami work. We were divided into groups and each group was assigned a character. Ours was mammoth and I was made the leader of our group. Nobody was interested in making, just the group members helped in cutting the paper that’s it. But our faculty has very high expectations from me. So, in the end, I tried to make it all alone but I was unable to make it to the mark. While carrying it to class, it broke and when the teacher asked me; he was shocked to hear that I did it all alone and then he called other members of our group. We all tried to make but were not able to and then finally made turtle😂. It was fun, but a bit exhausting.

Because of all this, I was unable to post last week. Anyway, have you planned anything for Christmas or New Year’s Eve? Are you going anywhere? Are they keeping thd Secret Santa game this year as well in the office? Ohh my God, I feel I have asked too many questions in this blogmail😂😂. Will ask the remaining ones in the next one.

Winter is here

Hello. I know you might be thinking I was asking you that why weren’t posting and I myself disappeared suddenly. Actually, my last few days were a bit hectic with some hustle bustle😅. I was trying to complete this since Sunday and finally today I finished it. Here is my sketch for the day. I would like to hear your views on this sketch as I had a motive behind sketching it and I want to know till what extent it is getting conveyed and in further sketches I will then improve accordingly.

I had attended a workshop this Sunday. In it we were taught how to make comics. The lady who conducted the workshop is an illustrator and comic artist. She makes designs for children’s books. The experience was good. I enjoyed it. We were asked to make our own comic over there by making up some story of our own. The main thing that was to be kept in mind was no words will be used; only through visuals the story should be explained. It was fun.

You find winters cruel? I rather really like winters. It is so awesome to just sit with blanket all around and a book in one hand and coffee mug in another😍. Finally, winter is here and am happy. Because November was about to end, till then we all were like winter is coming but there were no traces of winter. Also, in winters variety of yummy dishes like paratha, halwa, etc. are made. Calling winters cruel will be a bit harsh I feel😆

I am guessing this weather is not letting you sketch and making you lazy. That’s why you are not posting. No worries, take your time. It is not necessary that you need to sketch for posting, you can even simply drop a blogmail as well. 🙂

Mixture of things

Are you busy with work or you have completely lost motivation of sketching or you are writing novel? 😅. I know too many questions in the beginning itself, but I had this thing in my mind so simply thought of asking you!

By the way, I forgot to ask how’s office these days? I mean have you settled in your place? Has anyone come to sit near you or you are still sitting all alone in that cubicle?

I have started with a new software “Adobe After Effects” in the class. It is a very interesting software. It’s all about adding effects to videos. It is mainly used in motion graphics. I am enjoying it a lot.
